Don’t be reserved, tackle these fine dales!

Tideswell Dale, Miller’s Dale, Monk’s Dale, and some upland farming country combine to make this month’s walk a superb circular stroll. Monk’s Dale contains a National Nature Reserve, with around  100 species of flowering plants recorded there. However, some  of the path through Monk’s Dale is  stony, and can be  slippery after rain. If easy walking outweighs botanical interest, then a suggested alternative to part of the route is offered…
