MORE THAN 13-million people visit the Peak District National Park every year – but the costs of protecting and conserving this very special landscape for future generations to enjoy is inevitably on the rise, especially in an era of climate change. So a new charity has just been created, the Peak District National Park Foundation, with the aim of raising money to fund projects right across the 555 sq mile park, from repairing stiles and footpaths to tackling damage to moorlands and providing protection to endangered species. Fittingly, the Foundation has been set up…
