A Year in Chatsworth’s Garden…

The garden at Chatsworth is delightful, whatever the time of year and whatever the weather. I know because I was fortunate enough to be given exclusive access for 12 months to photograph some of its many charms, writes Judith Gadd especially for Reflections readers.

FOR THIS PROJECT I chose six locations: the Salisbury Lawns, the Kitchen Garden, the Maze, Morton’s Pond, the Grotto Pond and the Ravine. I visited the garden once every two weeks, covering two locations on each visit, which meant I saw each location every six weeks, and covered them all nine times within the year…
