For writers, securing a commission is a dream come true. Children’s author, Sue Wilkins, was even provided with a character to write about – a little duck called Arkwright who lives at Cromford Mill. The end result was a story, written by Sue and illustrated by Liz Furness, called Arkwright the Duck. Rosie Gilligan visited Sue at her home near Darley Dale, to find out more.
