Derbyshire folk are changing the lives of Kenyan boys – and especially girls – as Nicky Hart of the Matlock-based charity KES reports.
BACK in August 2015, Reflections revealed the remarkable story of how Matlock man Simon Brister, after tragically losing his son to meningitis more than 30 years ago, decided to sponsor African students through a Save The Children scheme. One of those students, Joseph Kiuna, became a successful businessman and, a few years ago, set up a school in his home town.
