Tideswell Dale, Miller’s Dale, Monk’s Dale, and some upland farming country combine to make this month’s walk a superb circular stroll. Monk’s Dale contains a National Nature Reserve, with around 100 species of flowering plants recorded there. However, some of the path through Monk’s Dale is stony, and can be slippery after rain.
