CHESTERFIELD Borough Council was all set to have a bumper year in the annual In Bloom competition. As well as encouraging the whole community to engage in the much-loved Chesterfield In Bloom competition, Chesterfield had been selected to represent the East Midlands in ‘Britain in Bloom’.
Despite the disappointment, Chesterfield is still blooming, so to help celebrate the brilliant gardeners of Chesterfield, the council launched a virtual flower festival called Grow and Tell.
