THIS MONTH’S WALK visits a little known area of moorland to the north of Buxton which was largely out of bounds to walkers until the Countryside and Rights of Way Act was passed in 2000. Combs Edge forms a delightful belvedere above the pretty Combs Valley with wide-reaching views to the west and north.
