Former nurse Deborah Barham Smith went to Castle Donington to meet the Air Ambulance crew that saves lives across three counties, including Derbyshire.
THE DERBYSHIRE, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA) was formed in 2008 and has carried out over 5,800 rescue missions. It receives no Government funding, relying solely on public donations, with the cost of one rescue mission around £1,700.
