A Castleton woman brings the past to life for young and old across the county – thanks to her remarkable ‘History Van’. Rosie Gilligan reports.
JENNY BLAND greets me at the gate of her cottage, in the shadow of Peveril Castle, just a stone’s throw from Peak Cavern in Castleton. She has dressed for the occasion as a Victorian lady in a white blouse above a crisp, black taffeta skirt, together with an elegant black and charcoal fitted jacket.
