A real taste of Spain…

FOOD festival organiser Richard Alsop this month offers us Mediterranean-style Spanish Mackerel, inspired from when he visited family friends in a beautiful Spanish coastal town called El Puerto de Santa Maria. It’s his version of a dish they ate in a restaurant there, close to a packed and noisy bullring! “My dish really was one to savour,” says Richard. “When I make my version of it back in Chesterfield, I can almost smell the sea breeze and hear the roar of the crowd as I eat it.” We cannot promise any sea breezes, but we hope you make it and enjoy it!…
