    This George I (Reign 1714-1727) oak and ash side table, c.1720, measuring 74cm wide, made £850 in a recent traditional antique auction. Consigned from a deceased estate near Bakewell, the result is considered to be a good price in the current market, showing the continued demand for authentic antique pieces in original condition.

Weighing 7.59g it is interesting to note that buying this antique ring at auction the buyer saved up to 0.42 tonnes of CO2e compared to buying a new ring.
