    This George I (Reign 1714-1727) oak and ash side table, c.1720, measuring 74cm wide, made £850 in a recent traditional antique auction. Consigned from a deceased estate near Bakewell, the result is considered to be a good price in the current market, showing the continued demand for authentic antique pieces in original condition.
